Onan "B" Series Seasonal Filter Tune-Up Kit WITH OIL FILTER:
Included in this kit are a high-capacity fuel filter, two top-quality NGK spark plugs, a high-capacity OEM Onan/Cummins/Fleetguard oil filter, and a high-quality air filter.
 
This kit will work on Case Ingersoll models 226, 446, 448, 648, and some 646 & 6000 series with Onan 'B' or 'BF' engines, 16 and 18 horsepower WITH oil filter option. If your model is included in here and you do NOT have an oil filter, please order our "B" series kit WITHOUT oil filter.(Kit will work on most brands of tractors that have 'B' series engines)
 
OPTION- to add the grommet for the oil filter.  It is a needed piece to keep your engine properly cooled and avoid catastrophic engine damage.  It is an oil filter to tin/heat shield grommet.  If you do not have one or yours is damaged it is a MUST-HAVE item on your Onan. 
 
OPTION- add new copper core spark plug wires, boot colors may very depedning on supply but they will match each other. For more info on our wires check out the spark plug wire listing.  Acell spark plug wires ahve been out of stock for over a year, but we have found a great replacement of the same quality.
 
OPTION- to add DD style carburetor gaskets so you can do a simple clean on your carb as we recomending do this at least once a season, LOOK At Photos To See If You Need a DD11 Or DD13 Carb Gasket.
 
We recommend doing these services at a minimum yearly or seasonal depending on tractor use and hours. 
 
This kit includes what you need to do your routine seasonal maintenance tune-ups.  This is what we use in our shop.   The high-capacity oil filter helps with keeping cooler engine oil temperature, filtration, and oil contamination dilution, any time you can get more oil capacity in a small engine it is a great benefit. The spark plug heat range we select here for our kit we have found works best with today's gasoline.  The OEM-owned Fleetguard filter brand is the number-one filter company in the world.  This kit is what you need to make your  Onan "B" run like new and stay that way.
 
NOTE: THERE IS AN OPTION ON AIR FILTERS TO BE DECIDED AT CHECKOUT.  Depending on the year of your machine there were different air filters used,  90 percent of Onan B Series will use the smaller dimension filter, and the smaller filter is used with ALL DD Carbs. (Measurements for this smaller filter are: 3 inches high; 4 5/8 inch ID; 6 inch OD)  The DD Carbs are square with a fuel pump bolted right onto the carburetor.  If you have a  Nikki carburetor and your tractor is a very late model 226, 446, 448 you will need the larger OD air filter. (Measurements for this larger air filter: 2 1/8 inches high; 6 5/8 inch ID; 8 inches ID) Most Onan-powered tractors with the plastic dashboard use the larger OD filter but to be 100% sure you are selecting the correct filter, measure the filter on your tractor before ordering.
 
SHOP TIP: We recommend always running high octane, premium gas in all Case Ingersoll machines, and even better if you can get ethanol free.  We have found a noticeable difference in performance and reliability/issues.
