Carburetor Rebuilding and Intake Resealing services are available. For Most Onan "B" and "P" Series with the DD Style Carbs (DD11 through DD15) and NIKKI carbs used on Onan and Briggs & Stratton. Carburetor rebuilds for other makes and models are available as well.
We do a multi-step carb cleaning process that includes a chemical bath, ultrasonic cleaning as well as manual passage and air-induced cleanings after we inspect the carbs and before rebuilding. We use top-quality parts sourced from OEM where available. The fuel pump is also replaced and rebuilt on ONAN DD model carbs. Brass floats are added or replaced where needed as are high-speed needles and O-Ring/
New top and bottom gaskets are included with our rebuild products, we send along upgraded large head screws for air cleaner, these screws have less of a chance of falling into carb and doing engine damage if they get loose on DD carbs. We still recommend a light-duty thread locker. We also include new coated grade 8 bolts for the carb to intake mounting.
Leaking intakes are a known issue for Onan's "B" and "P" series engines where they can cause all kinds of erratic and frustrating head-scratching running and performance issues. We drill out, split, clean, reseal with a gas-resistant sealer (NOT RTV) re rivet the manifold and coat it for extra seal protection and keep the air fuel mixture cooler and protected from engine heat. They are tested before they leave. Included are these great sealing great fitting USA MADE to our specs Intake to head gaskets. For more info on sending us your intake for resealing contact us. We also sell great quality replacement carburetors for Onan Nikki equipped carb engines or those looking to use a Nikki style carb with slight modifications instead of this DD style. Onan Performer "P" engines used in Ingersoll 4000 series tractors use the Nikki style carb from the factory as well as the later Onan "B"engines.
