It is a later model. If you prefer, we have 44 - and 60-inch mowers available. This tractor is very powerful and has the industrial proven Onan 16 Horspower 2 cylinder power house under the hood. This motor runs very smoothly and is super strong. This one is a keeper for sure. It just runs and mows awesome and is the last tractor someone will buy. Though all Case Ingersolls are tops in garden tractors and we see many, many once in awhile we just get one is that seems to stand out and this 446 is one of hose we come across once in awhile. This machine was fully professionally serviced and tuned up including hydraulics and rear end service as was the engine fully tuned up, plus valves adjusted, heads cleaned, all new gaskets along with all fluids and filters changed. They lift all attachments hydraulically as they are hydraulic drive. They are NOT Hydrostatic. This system is more simple and stronger. You can add three point hitch to this as well as hydro pto units to run hydraulic powered attachments available for these tractors (tillers, chippers, splitters,brush hogs leaf vacs, baggers etc). If you are looking for a reliable, real strong work horse that's not bad looking. This is it. I would say the paint is a 7 out of 10, and paint wear is accurate for its age. But it is a presentable work machine. We have snow plows, snow blowers, mower available, and other attachments for additional cost. The deck is very solid and clean, mows nice, not very loud. Blades were just sharpened, too. Please do some research on these incredible commercial garden tractors and find out why they are so highly desired.
