Replaces/contains part numbers C47357, C47158, C47311, C47521, C47341, C46210, C47210, 218-842 This check valve kit is a MUST have for Hydracutter rough cut brush mower and Hydra Finish Belly and 3-point mount mowers. This kit saves the hydraulic motors from damage from spiking pressures from shutdowns that are or are not intended. Set-ups, especially without the 3rd small hose for case drains, this is NEEDED. When flow is cut off to the motors the the rotating parts still spin and create pressure, and it has nowhere to go and ends up damaging motors and seals, etc, from the high spike of pressure. With this kit, the pressure is now allowed to circle back though the motor circuit until spin down is complete. Not only saving the attachment's hydraulics, it all makes for soft starts for the mechanical components of the attachment as well, belts, blades, shafts, bearings, keys, etc. This kit can save you many hundreds and hundreds of dollars or more. Very easy install as well. We will not run fast spinning attachments like the brush mowers, finish mowers, chippers, vacs etc with out this kit and / or a case drain set up. If 2 hoses set ups do not have this installed, they will fail and often in a short time...
 
NOTE
The Supply "IN" line to the attachment motor goes to the ball end of the check valve and pushes the ball closed when under operating conditions. Check your machine to make sure you know what line is your in supply IN line of attachment. Often, BUT not always, it tends to be the "male" quick connect fitting on your implement hose going to female on tractor. Often left port for "under seat" style PTO and front/lower port for “fender” mount style PTO are the supply ports TO attachment, but not always, and CHECK FOR YOURSELF
so damage and / or injury does not occur.
