Hydraulic fluid change interval is every 200 hours to 500 hours depending on model and workload, if there has been hydraulic part failure or oil contamination change oil and filter immediately. Recommended oil for HYDRAULIC system is 15-40 diesel ENGINE OIL, 20-50 Racing ENGINE OIL is a good option as is 15-50 synthetic ENGINE oil. Those in THE very cold often starting machine below 0 F colder climates 5-40, 5-50 synthetic diesel ENGINE or RACING oil is a great option. These are all great options to use in the hydraulic system.
 
After lots of research this is the only non-OEM filter we were able to find with all of the correct specs including flow rate, bypass PSI, micron rating, burst rating and flow PSI. This is a very high quality WIX filter made for hydraulic systems. This is the ONLY filter we will use in our shop and have for many years. Many filters out there being sold/recommended for Case Ingersolls do NOT meet all of the required specs and are a risky venture to use on your expensive machine. There are many out there selling a "black filter" that is of good quality and works well for its intended engine purpose, but  NOT on these "hydraulic" systems. Just because a filter will thread on it does NOT mean that it fits or is correct and by no means meats specifications and standards as many hundreds share the same thread and filter sizes on the outside that only look the same..
