C32296 Onan/Linamar Coil for "P" Performer Engines Onan Part Numbers (166-0761) (166-0820) Notice: the positive stud is smaller.
 
This is the correct coil for all 3000 and 4000 series Case  Ingersolls with Onan or Linamar engines WITH electronic ignition.  May also fit some very late model 200 and 400 series Onan powered tractors WITHOUT points.  This coil works on ALL performer series WITH electronic ignition Onan Linamar 16, 18, 20, 24 horsepower engine.  This is a high-quality aftermarket replacement coil from  a very reputable automotive electrical part manufacturer/seller.  It is much more cost-effective than OEM  coils, and OEM coil supply is not always  available. That is why we offer this option.

This coil will also work on many other brand tractors, welders, etc, that are equipped with Onan "P" Series engines.  Please check part numbers to make sure.  Correct primary resistance for "P" series coils should be around 3 Ohms, and  secondary resistance should be  roughly around 20,000 Ohms
 
NOTE: Some early model Onans  may require a separate bracket/hole modification to mount this style coil.  We recommend to swap outy our wires, it is a good practice to swap them out when you change the coil.  There is an option at check out to add wires to your coil order.
