Includes This OEM C31907 Jackshaft and welded on 16 tooth sprocket (C14579) is the standard OEM replacement on many 38-inch snow blowers, snow throwers
Also included are two C48649 kits, which include 2 new bearings C28817 (C14414), 4 flange bearing retainers C28277 AND new hardware. This 16 tooth shaft and kit is used on Case Ingersoll Garden Tractors 200, 3000, 400, 4000 series models (not 3100 or 4100). For snowblower models K80, L80, M80, N80, P80, R80, S80 Snow Caster AND SB38 Models With Roll Pin Pulley attachment.
You can use this shaft on "J80" You MUST order the optional Pulley with roll pin attachment.
 
A Template and instructions are included to update early blowers to be able to use this new style bearing set up as it is the current option for all blowers, some very minor grinding/filing etc MAY be needed on "some older models" to fit bearings and retainers
 
New Pulley is recommended on all Jack shaft replacements as they often get damaged when being removed.

OPTION - To add OEM Pulley for the jackshaft C31953
OPTION - To Add OEM Drive Belt For Snow Blower, Choose C23539 for Big Wheel Models 400, 4000, or C23538 For Small Wheel Models 200, 3000 series
 
OPTION - To add New Drive Chain and AUGER Bearings Kits, select the correct kit for your “Auger” Bearing Style.
Choose Kit #1 with ROUND AUGER Bearings
C28971 and Correct C18183 Chain for this jackshaft set up. Round bearings came factory equipped on M84,N84,P84,R84,S84, and SB38/48 snow caster augers
Or if you have HEX AUGER bearings, choose Kit #2 with two C29265 Hex Bearing Replacements and correct C18183 chain for this jackshaft kit. (F84,G84,H84,J84,K84 and L84 snowblowers came factory with "HEX" bearings but these models may have been changed to round bearings over the years so we recommend pulling your "auger" bearings before ordering to confirm!)
