C29869 C43759 Onan OEM Nikki carburetor kit is used on 20 horsepower and some 18 Horsepower Onans. Onan B48 and P218, P220 Performer Engines
This carb was used on Late Model 448 (after14075830 serial number) With Onan "B" series engines, these machines had a plastic dash and large 8-inch air cleaner. This carb also came on ALL Onan "P" Performer powered 4020 and 3020, 4120, 4020-3020 power steering and some 3018, 3118, 4018, 4118 and 6018 Onan Loaders.
We recommend this bigger carb for all 18 horsepower Onans with Nikki carbs. Many have also used this carb with good results on 16 horsepower equipped Onans with Nikki Style carbs. Look at photos and make sure your 200 and 400 series has this "Nikki Style carb"
and Not the "square" shape DD Style found on most 200 and 400 series Onan-powered tractors. We offer the DD carb HERE
 
All Onan P Performers had the Nikki Style Carbs but there are 2 sizes; this one and the smaller C29868 ( click here)
are used on some 18 and all 16-horsepower models with Nikki carbs. These are the correct top-quality OEM Onan Nikki Carbs.
 
NOTE- These are non-accelerator pump, non emissions model carbs and our current stock actually still have adjustable low speed jet! This carb is much cheaper than the $600 to $1200 accel pump, emissions and other spec carbs and performs great as it was used from the factory for many years on these model machines. These carbs have been used to replace any Nikki style carbs on 20 and 18 horsepower Onan and Linmar engines with or without accelerator pumps or fixed jets. As well replacements for 16 horsepower with good results for most.
 
NOTE- If using in place of accelerator pump style carb you may
need to modify or swap your governor rod to carb and clips on some models as they may be different sizes.

OPTION- Screw option for 3 long screws that hold the tall plastice air deflector and air cleaner base to carb. Look at photos. (can be shortened and use for air cleaner mounting screws without tall air defector)
Shop Tip/Option - We highly recommend resealing your Intake as 2 piece Onan intakes at this point in their lives is common to find them leaking and cause poor running engines. Not only is the engine performance bad, but so is economy and can also do engine damage by sucking in un filtered air.
